These Terms of Service govern the relationship between Melbourne Laser Sanding ABN [TO BE INSERTED] ("we", "us", "our") and any individual or business ("you", "the client") that requests a quote, engages our services, or uses this website.
By requesting a quote or proceeding with a job, you confirm that you have read and accept these terms.
All quotes are provided in writing and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. A quote is an estimate based on the information provided at the time. The final price may vary if the scope of work materially differs from what was described — for example, if the contamination layer is significantly heavier than anticipated, or if access to the surface proves more difficult than expected.
We will advise you of any variation before proceeding with additional work. You will not be invoiced for work beyond the agreed scope without your approval.
Before treating any surface, we conduct a small test patch to confirm that the laser parameters are appropriate for the substrate. If the test patch reveals that the treatment is unsuitable or may cause unintended effects, we will advise you and not proceed without your written consent.
The test patch area may be visible after treatment. This is a necessary part of our process and is not considered a defect.
You are responsible for:
We accept no liability for outcomes resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the client.
We take all reasonable care in our work. Our liability for any claim arising from a job is limited to the value of the work performed for that job. We are not liable for:
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded by contract.
Our services come with consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. If a service is not carried out with due care and skill, or is not fit for the purpose you described, you are entitled to a remedy. These guarantees cannot be excluded.
Payment terms will be specified on your invoice. For larger jobs, a 50% deposit may be required before work commences. Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments may attract interest at the rate of 10% per annum.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice may incur a fee to cover preparatory costs and lost scheduling.
All content on this website — including text, images, and design — is owned by or licensed to Melbourne Laser Sanding. You may not reproduce, copy or distribute any content without our written permission.
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of this website or our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
